I can see clearly now the rain is gone..

Let me rephrase that: I can see clearly now that FINALS are gone!

HOLY CRAP, it is so beautiful here in Orem, Utah today! I'm going on a walk with Jen and baby Jersey in about fifteen minutes and I thought I'd do a little blogging before I left. Today started out wonderful except that one of my good friends from my class is having a rough day. That's a bummer because she is always so happy and there's seriously something about when a happy person gets sad and yet they're still happy. Why can't I be like that!? Still, I need to think of something to do to cheer her up :) Think, Katelyn. Think...

So yesterday one of my professors told us that we will be blogging for the rest of the year and a half we are at UVU because that'll be how we do assignments/reflect on classes or presentations/etc. So, ignore any other blogs you see on my profile page because they are about education psych and technology and blah blah blah.

But hooray, I applied for Utah residency today! So good-bye out of state tuition! Which is perfect timing because the talk of the final this morning was that tuition went up this year.. for in state it's now $2500 instead of $1700. HAHAHAHAHA that made me laugh so hard inside when I heard them crying about how "expensive" tuition is out here. Go back east, or actually, anywhere outside of Utah, and then see how tuition is! Am I right people? Huh? Huh? Well, maybe I shouldn't say that because most of my friends out here are paying for college themselves. And if that were the case for me I'd be cryign right along with them. Thank you Mom&Dad for paying for my education :) I love you!
