Ryan and I are totally addicted to a new show... Chuck! Thanks to Rob and Jen (and Jersey, she can't be left out) who lent us season 1, we have spent this long weekend staying up till 3 a.m. watching episode after episode of Chuck, which in turn led to us sleeping in till 10 each morning! Man, waking up at 7 tomorrow morning sure will be a slap in the face! There's just this stupid Bryce character that keeps showing up and inturrupts the romance that still hasn't happened yet, but I'm waiting! I hope he goes away, but he probably won't and then Chuck and Sarah won't ever get together! AHHHHHHHHHH! I'm stressing. Well, I am officially 23 now. And, to celebrate, I finally made a lasagna. I've tried before, but for some mysterious reason, they've always turned out watery. WHY?! Who knows where the water comes from. But, it was so yummy and we got to have Rob and Jen (and Jersey, who loved the rolls and our volleyball and our ipods and my measuring spoons and whipped cream when you spray it on her hand, pretty much everything but the lasagna) got to share it with us! I tell Ryan all the time, there are two things that I keep trying over and over again to make that I just can't get... lasagna and chocolate chip cookies. Now, I've got the lasagna down! I guess all that's left to do is work on chocolate chip cookies. And other things I'm sure will come up that I can't master, but chocolate chip cookies seem so elementary! HOW COME I CAN'T MAKE THEM! They are always too crunchy, or too puffy, or taste like baking soda, or are uncooked in the middle... I can't win, people. About 22 weeks until the cruise!
And oh, it looks like our group of friends are all going to vegas in May! Yayy!
So I just had written this long comment and somehow the computer exited out so this is the shortened version.
ReplyDelete1st- I'm WAY jealous that you are going on a cruise. Where to? And I'm jealous that you're going to Vegas again. Sounds like you guys are having a blast!
2- I have a recipe that is almost guaranteed to give you moist chocolate chip cookies. It has pudding in the recipe. I can email it to you if you want. Just let me know. Also another trick I've found is to let them cook for about 8 minutes and then cool on the cookie sheet for a couple of minutes and then transfer them to a cooling rack. I've never had any trouble with this recipe.
