I'm growing up!

I'm actually working 8 hour days.. and NOT at LaBeau's! Lance (the boss man) emailed me asking if I could cover a 3-5 shift, ON TOP of working 9-3 already. The conversation with Ryan about this went as follows:

Me: Ryan! I'm working 8 hour days on Mondays and Wednesdays!
Ryan: At least you don't have anything else to do.
Me: But I'm not a grown up yet! Why am I working 8 hour days?
Ryan: Well, what do you work Fridays?
Me: (looking down, shuffling my feet) ... I have Fridays off ..?
Ryan: (pauses for a second).. (hysterical laughter) Then what are you complaining for?!

So, 24 hour weeks aren't too bad, especially when I cram all those hours into four days. Gotta get myself ready for LaBeau's!

I've really gotten into jewelry making again. I haven't done it since high school, where I took 8 semesters of it and LOVED every minute of it. I think it'll be my new hobby. I haven't tried making jewelry out of the workshop at my high school ever until just recently since my mom opened my eyes up to the jewelry section of Jo-Anns. Well, in high school we used blow torches and things like this. I think I'll just stick to needle-nose pliers and wire cutters. I don't think Ryan would appreciate me using a blow torch in our condo!
