So about an hour ago it was all sunny, birds were chirping, and about 65 degrees. All of a sudden (no, seriously, it was all of a sudden) I heard thunder and the sky began pouring water down on the earth! Our wind chime outside started to freak out, I thought it would come off! AHHH but I love it. Thunder storms remind me of when I was little and we have a long bay window in our living room, and my dad would always tell Justin and I to stay away from it because ummm I really don't remember anymore but to this day I still stay away from windows in storms. Anyways, Justin and I would take the cushions off the couch and make a fort (I was a pretty good fort maker in my time, let me tell you) out of the cushions and blankets. Then, we would slowly SLOWLY sneak out of the fort and then... BOOM! Thunder would crack and we would scurry back into our fort both laughing and scared for our lives! Oh, childhood...
Side note: My friend Stephanie just texted and said she and her husband were driving to Page (don't know where that is but obviously in driving distance from Orem) late Friday night and they were CHARGED by an antelope! She said they're fine but the car, not so much. That's crazy! She said it came out of nowhere and literally... charged at the car! Scaryyyyyyy and the sad part is when I asked how the antelope is, she said, "I don't think there's much left of him." EW!
Well, it stopped raining already. Sad. But at least it smells like rain outside and since the windows are open my place smells all summery and rainy! YUMMY! Speaking of yummy, I wish I had some chocolate in the house...
